The theme for this year’s Gala is “Enlightened, Empowered, and Engaged.” Several partners from different industries will be recognized for their support and assistance to the Jennings School District. This year’s honorees are Mr. David Steward, Chairman and Founder of World Wide Technology; Ms. Juanita Logan, Director of Corporate Development of World Wide Technology; Mr. Kevin Drollinger, Executive Director of Provident, Inc.; Mr. Stan Shoun, President of Ranken Technical College; and Captain Juan Cox, captain of the St. Louis County Police Department and commander of the Jennings precinct.
According to Superintendent Dr. Art McCoy, “Because of the tremendous support of our community and partners, we were able to raise over $30,000 for students last year while we all enjoyed a tremendous musical performance by Jennings students. Our students have been working and preparing for another incredible Gala, and we hope that we can raise even more scholarship funds for our students this year!”
