“How Missouri Women got the Vote,” March 10, noon-12:50 p.m.: Join Doug Schneider, adjunct faculty of continuing education, for a virtual discussion regarding women’s suffrage. Missouri, and especially St. Louis, was a hotbed of women’s suffrage activity in the 19th and 20th centuries. Learn more about the movement that was energized by the Civil War and fueled the19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote nationwide in 1920. Discover what happened once Missouri women got the vote 101 years ago.*
